MetaMask
Connect the MetaMask browser extension at checkout to sign payments and prefill payout addresses — no copying long Ethereum addresses.
Your extension signs the transaction. Stash.TF never sees your private key.
MetaMask is a browser extension that holds Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens like USDT. On Stash.TF, you connect MetaMask instead of manually copying a deposit address or payout address.
At checkout, open the Wallet tab and click MetaMask. Your extension asks which account to use, then Stash.TF shows your connected address. When you pay, MetaMask prompts you to approve the transaction on the Ethereum network.
The same flow works with the Trust Wallet browser extension — click MetaMask on the Wallet tab and approve in Trust Wallet. For Trust Wallet on your phone, use WalletConnect instead.
Prefer not to connect? Every ETH and USDT trade still offers manual transfer — copy the address and send from an exchange or any wallet.
ETH and USDT only — Litecoin stays manual.
| Flow | MetaMask connect |
|---|---|
| Buy keys (ETH or USDT) | Yes — Wallet tab |
| Sell keys (ETH or USDT payout) | Yes — prefill payout address |
| Account settings | Optional — faster checkout |
| Litecoin (LTC) | Manual only |
From connect to confirmed payment.
Install the MetaMask extension and fund the account you want to pay from.
Start a buy order, choose Ethereum or USDT, and open the Wallet tab on checkout.
Click MetaMask and approve the connection in your extension.
Expand Verify before you pay and confirm the amount, deposit address, and trade ID match your order.
Click Pay with wallet. MetaMask shows an EIP-712 order summary first, then the payment transaction.
Confirm both prompts and leave checkout open until Stash.TF detects your on-chain payment.
The EIP-712 message is a readable order summary — merchant, item, price, and trade ID. It does not move funds. The second prompt is the actual ETH or USDT payment. See MetaMask’s guides on verifying contracts and how dapp connections work.
Connect once to fill in your payout address.
When you sell TF2 keys for ETH or USDT, you need a receiving address. Instead of pasting it manually, connect MetaMask on the sell checkout page and we prefill the address from your connected account.
You can still edit the address after connecting, or disconnect and paste a different wallet if you prefer.
Most issues are network, gas, or a stale connection.
